Santa Takes Flight Beer Stein
This stein by Hallmark Artist Tom Best depicts the wonder of Santa in flight on a cool Christmas night. As a quaint town sleeps below, Santa stops on rooftops to send elf-crafted toys for children, as well as gifts full of hops and cheer for their parents down the chimney. With his deliveries done, the reindeer once again take to the skies, soaring among clouds to the next town. Sailing through the starlit night. Santa waves goodbye with a festive “Prost!” Tom believes that the celebratory nature of a stein is ideal for storytelling. Steins represent the tradition of friends and family coming together for a special occasion and recognizing a moment that is better when shared. To make Santa Takes Flight, he partnered with King-Werk Würfel & Müller, a beer stein manufacture located in the Westerwald (Western Forest) region of Germany. King-Werk has been creating authentic, handcrafted and handpainted German steins for generations, and their attention to detail helped bring Tom’s festive design to life. It was a perfect collaboration between two companies well-versed in craft and meaningful tradition.
