NERDY NUGGET: Tribbles can’t fly–but they may sound like they can! To create the creatures’ various sounds for the iconic Star Trek episode “The Trouble With Tribbles,” sound editor Douglas Grindstaff mixed recordings of doves (when soothing humans). screech owls (when annoying Klingons), and even squeaky latex balloons.

NOTE: Tribble was scheduled to be released at the ECCC, PCC & SDCC events that were canceled and & STLV that was rescheduled due to the coronavirus. The ornament was released at the Comic-Con@Home event.
