Carol Osborne

2015 Snowflake

2015 Snowflake was inspired by large wire streetlights Hallmark designer Carol Osborn saw at Christmastime. She thought the shape would be beautiful as a crisp porcelain ornament. Glass rhinestones and glitter were added to give the feel of the sparkly lights Carol was inspired by.

2010 Snowflake

In an exploration of simply beautiful design, the Keepsake Studio collaborated with other artists at Hallmark to create unique ornaments crafted from rich artisan materials such as porcelain , glass, and metal that highlight original works of Hallmark art.

2010 Snowflake was created from art archived Hallmark greeting card design and rendered in pierced porcelain by Carol Osborne, then embellished with gems and glitter. A stamped-metal charm featuring the year date hangs from its satin ribbon.
